A battle Lilac was not looking forward to! Due to most of Don Rey's pokémon being big enough to step on hers and flatten them.

First match, Duskull up against Salamence. Duskull started the battle hopelessly, not having time to attack and barely managing to dodge. Duskull caught onto Salamence's wing when it passed by and hung on through a series of aerial ace attacks while Salamence tried to shake it off.

The battle seemed a hopeless case, but then, Lilac remembered how easy it was to knock out a Flygon when it's careening towards the ground with a pokémon covering its eyes and ordered Duskull to cling to Salamence's face.

Once Salamence was in a position to crash if it for some strange reason stopped controlling its flight Duskull used disable! And they crashed into the ground. Duskull was knocked out, but Salamence was still able to stagger around and battle.

Mismagius took Duskull's place and soon finished the job.

The creepy Gengar replaced Salamence and proceeded to grin unnervingly. Then it started using dark pulse and shadow ball and dammit, when you only have two type disadvantages you don't expect both of them exploited at the same time.

The battle was pretty obviously not going to go her way, so Lilac decided to go with perish song and run away until it took effect.

And so, the battle ended in a draw.
