Improvement meme

Okay, so I kind of butchered it. Sorry about the font by the way. It's pretty awesome knowing I've gotten better enough that art from four years ago burns my eyes.

2006 - I was in grade nine and chose to do art as an elective. Most of my sketchbook was filled with non art related things. Discovered the wonders of fanart and Fatal Frame. Art at this point was something I was just doing to fill time when bored in class and such.

2007 - Still taking art as an elective. Getting bored with some school work so more scribbling in class happened. Watched a lot of anime (and I mean a LOT) and got a better grasp of... anime proportions. Discovered Higurashi?

2008 - The year after I took up NaNoWriMo too and joined the Train Station. Dropped art as an elective for various reasons. Got a graphics tablet, started using GIMP and Open Canvas to make digital arts. Started a webcomic with ~ashkatom. Also learned that I like fish. Discovered the wonders of colour. Spend about half of my classes drawing all the time now. Starting to get worried about how boring everything else seems.

2009 - Final year of highschool. By the end of the year there wasn't a class I didn't draw in if I could. Decide that arting is not boring so I'm going to find a way to do that and make money. Discovered composition, backgrounds, motion and reality. Began attempting digital paintings and various shading styles. Decided anime style did not work for me and started developing my own. Still doing a webcomic. Got a new graphics tablet.

Half 2010 - Persisted with the digital painting and started getting somewhere with the colouring. Started using Paint Tool SAI. Stiiiill doing webcomic. And a short comic besides.
